Duties of a Member
As stated in the Association’s Articles of Association, each member must comply with the provisions of the Civil Associations Law issued by Royal Decree No. 2000/14 and with the regulations of this Association. Membership should be regarded as a voluntary act, and every member should exert maximum effort to advance the goals of the Association. Each member shall:
- Contribute to all Association activities within their capabilities and resources.
- Serve as a role model for the Association through integrity, good conduct, and upright behavior.
- Work to encourage and support the various activities organized by the Association.
- Refrain from any act or attempt that may harm the reputation or interests of the Association in any way.
- Abide by and adhere to the resolutions issued by the General Assembly and the Board of Directors.
- Pay the annual membership fees determined by the Board of Directors and approved by the General Assembly.
- Promote awareness and disseminate the objectives of the Association.
Member Privileges
The Oman Economic Association is a professional, voluntary, and independent organization that aims to contribute effectively to economic affairs. Members of the Association enjoy the following benefits and opportunities:
